Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LevelCalc ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
For Informational Purposes Only
The calculators, tools, content, and information provided on this Site are for general informational and estimation purposes only. They are not intended as, and should not be construed as, professional engineering, architectural, contracting, or legal advice. No provider-client relationship is created by your use of this Site.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, the formulas, constants, calculations, and content on this Site may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Results are generated by automated formulas that have not been individually reviewed or certified by a licensed professional. LevelCalc makes no representation that any calculation result is correct, current, or suitable for any particular use.
Calculator results are rough estimates that do not account for every variable present in real-world construction, including but not limited to:
- Local building codes, zoning requirements, and permit conditions
- Soil conditions, site grading, and environmental factors
- Structural loads, seismic zones, and wind exposure categories
- Material variations between manufacturers and batches
- Ambient temperature, humidity, and curing conditions
- Contractor skill level, equipment, and installation methods
No Warranty
All information on this Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. LevelCalc expressly disclaims all warranties that the calculators will produce accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free results for your specific project or any project.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall LevelCalc, its owners, operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the information or tools provided on this Site, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability (including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if LevelCalc has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This includes, without limitation, damages for:
- Material shortages, overages, or incorrect quantities purchased
- Project delays, rework, or cost overruns
- Property damage or structural failures
- Personal injury or death
- Electrical hazards, fire, or code violations
- Any other losses resulting from reliance on calculator results
If any limitation above is found to be unenforceable, LevelCalc's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Site (which is zero for free tools).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LevelCalc, its owners, operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your reliance on any calculator results, or your violation of these terms.
Professional Verification Required
You must always verify calculations independently before purchasing materials or beginning any work. Calculator results are starting points for estimation, not final specifications. In particular:
- Structural work (foundations, beams, load-bearing walls, retaining walls) must be designed or reviewed by a licensed structural engineer.
- Electrical work must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local amendments, and should be performed or supervised by a licensed electrician.
- Plumbing and HVAC installations should be sized and reviewed by licensed professionals in accordance with local codes.
- Permits and inspections may be required for your project. Check with your local building department before starting work.
Assumption of Risk
By using this Site, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for verifying any calculation results before acting on them
- You assume all risk associated with the use of our calculators and content
- You will not rely on calculator results as the sole basis for purchasing materials, performing construction, or making safety-critical decisions
- You understand that construction involves inherent risks and that incorrect estimates — whether caused by tool errors, user input errors, or site-specific variables — can result in financial loss, property damage, or injury
Third-Party Links
This Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. LevelCalc has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, accuracy, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of this Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer.
